What's in my head right now?

I let off a lot of steam yesterday. ORZ

Me and Melo were at Spidey's house that time, then Spidey was doing her props. After that, we had a long (and I mean LONG) talk about past stuffs. We were bitching and badmouthing quite a bit (a bit... maybe not ah). I really talked my heart out. Ah, the good times.

Then today I was there again, with Rei, Ashley and Shinji. Pretty much a screwed up day as I had nothing to do (Shinji never bring my skinsuit =_=) And some bugger was only paying ________ to ______ while ignoring the ___ of __ mostly. (Go fill in the blanks yerself, yo.) So I was suspecting something. More like assuring, 'cos I had suspected a long time back. I talked to Spicey (lolz) about it and he had the same idea. Then at dinner, I was talking to Mao about it, and he thought the same too. HMMM.

I dunno, I might be a bit clueless, but I can damn well predict an outcome by logic and instinct. But hey, I ain't telling anybody yet. Hurhur~

Updates?

It's been a long while since I blogged, haha.

I'm slowly preparing for my Fate/Stay Night cosplay at Cosfest. I already have a group, and it's slowly growing. Hopefully I can at least get all the servants. Sorry for abandoning the zoo peeps though. =3

And if the reader (you) have not watched Kara no Kyoukai, GO WATCH IT. IT IS NICE.

That long stretch of road.

Well, this is the 1st in a LONG time that I've stayed in my house for the whole day. And I've been thinking about a lot of things.

Firstly, about cosplay. I started this hobby last year. when I saw a lot of good cosplayers at Cosfest '07. I was really amazed by the work that they had done, and I was thinking, "Maybe I can do the same thing too..." I had really wanted to try cosplaying as Harima Kenji from School Rumble, since I loved the anime and I know I can pull it off really well.

Then my 1st cosplay event as a cosplayer came, in WCG Coscon. I joined the competition because I overspent on my costume (I went to a normal tailor =_=) But hey, I got 2nd runner-up. Not too shabby considering I got $200 back. I decided to use that money on my EOY cosplay.

Along the way, I had lots of cool friends too. Most of them I had found through SGCafe, which was the main cosplay forum. There were the wacky ones like Shinji, the silly ones like Negi, the "silent-but-can-give-one-liner-killer-sentences" ones like Neng, and shorties like Shinso (sorry! XD), among others.

Heck, I was involved in most cosplay events, but more than just cosplaying. I was the co-emcee for EOY '07. And cos-sing as Jeryy from D.Gray-Man~ =3

After that, I made it a point to cosplay characters that wear shades or masks. Why? I'm to scared of wearing contacts. But hey, I'm smart enough to go around it. XD

So my next event was SOY '08, a new event hosted by Ngee Ann Polytechnic. I went there as Mr. Karate from Art and Fighting, and Setsuru tagged along as Yuri Sakazaki. It was a hilarious day there, and even though I didn't win the competitions, I enjoyed it a lot. Even the audience liked Minoru's Hare Hare Yukai dance that I did. But the emcees sure gave screwed up questions like "If you see a Neko (cat) on the street, what would you do?" =_= Even one girl (sorry I forgot your name, but I damn sure remember your face XD) called me p***s-head. Well, for obvious reasons. Think of my mask~

Then fast-forward to Streetfest! I had my 1st real gig with Absinthe. I was the drummer. =D It was really a surreal experience, but even though I screwed up a bit, I felt that I did pretty well for a first. The audience loved our performance too! Big props to the rest of my bandmates: Jem and YK the guitarists, Gene the bassist and Winnie the vocalist. You guys rock!

Then it was cosplay time! I did B-Bone from GuitarFreaks! I had always wanted to do a Bemani character for a long time. This cosplay was the hardest one I did to date, as I had to body paint my arms a lot to make them grey.

Hmm, oh yeah. Before that event, I had suggestion from Sloth to join his Arrancar group. They were missing a few members, including Kaname Tousen. Then I was thinking, "Maybe I should do a serious character once in a while..." So I joined his team. And that's how I joined my current clique right now. I'll talk more about them later.

Next event up was the Singapore Toy and Comics Convention. I spent the 1st day roaming around, getting freebies and playing the games there. Then on Day 2, I was cos-sing as Afro from Dance Dance Revolution. Ya, man. I even played DDR Supernova 2 dressed up as him! Shinji and Sephora sabotaged me. =3

Oh yea, I remember that time I was on stage. I was singing the Gatsby song with Spidey as a Dynasty Warriors character with super-huge red lion hair. XD

Then came the big event: Cosfest '08. The Arrancar team was one of the more eye-catching cosplays, as I expected. I myself didn't expect to do such a good cosplay of Tousen. Some girls even asked if I was the real guy! -sweats-

I also did Don Kanonji some time later, at Anime Festival Asia. It was the most relaxing, AND most tiring cosplay at the same time. I can act like an idiot however I like, but doing that BWAHAHAHA pose is painful~ >.<

Hmm, I have probably 3 more cosplays to go before I semi-retire/retire (see how, ya). But along the way, I've met some great friends, I found my first love, and I had a LOT of fun. Here's to the new generation of cosplayers; hope you guys do better than us!!!

'Tis not yer usual blogpost.

I would want to blog more about AFA. About how cool Ichirou Mizuki and his ani-songs were, the various booths, and some of the shows as well.

But there's other issues i want to talk about. =3

As I was going back. I talked to this old lady. She was an Indonesian; I had to figure out myself since she was talking in Malay, but in a weird dialect. =3 She's a worker at the Army Market; I think I probably saw her before. ANYWAYS...

We talked about a lot of stuffs, about religion, about Malay teenagers really going corrupted nowadays, about the future... anything out of the blue, really. But after that, I really had a new lease of life, somehow. And I learnt something important: "Mind over Body". I'll really try to change myself from now on.

Means, expect a lot of unexpected things to happen, guys.

Okay, other random stuffs than happened today:

1. I spent ZILCH during my time in AFA. =D

2. The queue for cosplayers' pre-registration was non-existant. The normal queue was godlike though. Rein and Kei had to suffer through it. =3

3. Spidey was crazy enough to buy 3 bags full of figurines. =_=

4. I was eating at Macs with Denise and Yukihoshi. Then Yuki left and suddenly the Zoo people arrived. Oh noes. Sure hope they don't have such wild imaginations. D=

5. Denise missed 2 of her buses before I had to help wave for the 3rd one, lol. She got lucky there. And it all happened within 2 minutes. XDDDD

AFA's Coming!!!

I think I'm prepared for it... Should be. BWAHAHAHAHAHA

I hope I can get 1270 SP for Drummania, then I can quit it for good. =D

And then, after AFA, I shall pull off a stunt worthy of a daredevil... hehe. +_+

Late Report!!

I was supposed to blog about my weekend yesterday, but was lazy, hehe~

SATURDAY:
Went to do one last filming session at RDA. I was so tired from waking up too early, I slept during half the time there =3. But in all, it was a really good session; my group worked really hard that day.

Then I headed over with Calyx to meet my new band at Chinatown. She tagged along 'cos it was too early for her to go back home XD. In the end, only the guitarists and I were playing, because one of them had a tutorial session with the other =_=. I think they should practice on their own 1st and get at least 1 or 2 songs right before jamming, otherwise it would be a waste of money. That's why I hate going jamming D=. But I ended up getting an ear muffler. FOR FREE! XD

SUNDAY:
Went out with the zoo peeps. Rein got lost, AGAIN. -makes an L-rainbow sign-

We went to find some cosplay stuffs (Spidey specifically), before making a trip to our intended lunch area, Dallas Fried Chicken. It was PACKED. WE ended up at a nearby kopitiam instead. T_T

Then we headed over to Spidey's office and slacked there. Some did props, some played games (Typing of the Dead, LOL) and I was playing Guitar Freaks. It's funny when I saw the other zoo peeps' blogs saying I was playing Guitar HERO. XDDDD

Then Melo went off 1st as we headed over to Vivo for dinner at KFC. We talked a lot of crap during that time, haha.

Then we went off home, and I took MRT. I TOOK MRT. That's amazing by my standards. XD

Okays, end of report. Now for slightly more serious (but still funny) stuff:

Seriously, I've got a premonition of a deja vu happening. But let's see what happens. And sometimes I really find it HARD to ask a girl out. Kinda scary like watching a horror movie. =3
